THE ROPE

Heavy-duty polypropylene rope provides good grip and abrasion resistance, whilst being light-weight and rot resistant. Specifications:

Type B is a generation of low stretch (static) rope made from top quality polyamide yarn with UV stabilisation treatment in the full cross section of the yarn. 10mm diameter is ideal for rescue use or protection lines. (Non dynamic- Lead ropes must be dynamic) The yarn is thermostabilised at different stages of production and treated for better handling and performance when wet. These ropes are of high strength, with good abrasion resistance.

A special termination processes give a perfect seal on spool ends. These ropes are specially designed for use with modern rope devices and are durable and wear resistant. Available in two defined colours - blue and black - by Mechdynamic's
